Install Filemaker Pro from Company Portal Installing FileMaker via Company Portal Type in Company Portal in the search bar at the bottom of the screen to locate Company Portal and select it from the search results. Note: When you initially open Company Portal, you may be prompted to choose a category for your device based on the Office you belong to (e.g. OSS). Choose the category that is applicable to you. Click Done. Company Portal should open up to a window displaying FileMaker under Featured Apps. Click on it to expose the Install button Click Install The FileMaker installation process will begin and display a progress bar Once completed, Company Portal will display that FileMaker has been installed Close Company Portal once the installation has completed Open the newly installed FileMaker Pro. If the prompt below is seen, click ‘Allow Access’. Open the new version of Filemaker Pro and click File à Hosts à Show Hosts Click the + sign to add the Host’s Internet Address and enter the value below. Click ‘Save’ afterwards. Click the checkbox next to ‘Always permit connection to this host’ and then click Connect Follow the steps below to search for the database and add it to your Favorites Confirm that the database now appears in your list of Favorites Click Edit from the top menu and choose Preferences Click the User name field and type in the username you use to sign in. Click OK.
